Aspen absolutely LOVES her new preschool, Little Brick Schooolhouse. She is usually a little camera shy (ok, terrified) but as you can see, we are all smiles the first day!
Her top three so far...
- Table Time
- Playing with her friend, Eliza
- Recess outside in Miss Heather's yard.
Jack started first grade this year and is pretty much thrilled about it. His top three so far...
- Recess
- Math
- Free Reading Time
He walks with a couple of friends from our neighborhood that apparently exude a lot more "coolness" than I do. I offered to walk with him to school the other day because I needed to go into the office, and he said, (AND I QUOTE) "Mom, just do it online because you can't walk with me....it's too embarrassing." FIRST GRADE. It begins.

Yay Liza! I warned you about getting sucked into the blooging world before you were 100% ready! But your blog looks great and you've already posted more than me:) Eli thinks I'm embarrassing too-it started at the very end of Kindergarten-and my 2 year old just told me "you're not the boss you know". Who knew THAT started so early! PS I know Emily's cool and all, but you could add some other less cool people to your friends who blog list!:)
Her name is not Penny!!! Would you please tell the good people her name is Aspen and I refer to her lovingly a Penny. Us blog stalkers are bound to be confused by the change in names!!
Love ya!
oh i love that you have a blog now...it really is the little things in life that bring us joy!!!
ps. jack doesn't know how lucky he is!
Glad you joined the blogging world. It is fun. Thanks for your kind comments about me the other night. You are a wonderful friend. I look up to you a lot.
LIZA! Yay I am so excited I blog stalked and found your cute blog! Now email me...randiworkman@hotmail...to get your email so I can send you an invite to our "all exclusive private blog!" Ha Ha I'm totally kidding, but really do email me so we can "BLOG" eachother! Your kids are absolutely adorable...I am still thinking we need to arrange Aspen and Luke to get married! SO CUTE! Hope all is well with you guys!
Liza you rock and so does your blog. Your kids are darling - of course. Tell yourself that it's fun to blog (that's what I try to do - just teasing.)
Although you didn't really embarrass me when we were in school, I distinctly remember insisting you walk 10 feet behind me. Just for the record...Jack and I haven't spoken of those days. Only a few regrets.
Love you kid.
JJ
I miss my cute little preschool class from last year and seeing Aspen twice a week. She's a cutie! I'm not looking forward to the day when my Jack is "embarassed" by me.
