Christmas Morning 2011
James 1st
Oh the wonderment of it all!
So many lights and cords to pull, so much paper to eat...
so little time!

A picture can never truly capture the magic of Christmas morning.....but we tried.

Tradition:

Every Christmas Eve our cousins bring us over some extra special reindeer food (sparkles included) for the kids to set out for Santa's furry friends. The pitch of our roof is ridiculously steep and no reindeer would be caught dead up there...so that's why it's on the sidewalk.
Anywho!
While Santa is inside our house, his faithful friends feel free to munch and well.....relieve themselves on our front lawn. Christmas morning there are "signs" of Santa's reindeer all over our front walk and our kids are completely DELIGHTED....so is Tom. ;)
It is the BEST!!!

And we're back...

So grab a snack, and stay awhile. Today is
"for cryin' out loud update your blog day"
Join me.
I am going to attempt to post all those pesky little rain clouds that have been following me for 6 months. You know "pesky" as in birthdays, James blessing, vacations ...etc.
In my defense, (which I have none, really) our digital camera was lost....in July. Bummer for the pics that were on it, not a bummer that I got a snazzy new camera...in November. Things move pretty fast around here.
Try to keep up. :)

This picture is the first one I took with the aforementioned "snazzy cam."
You know that one month old that has been the face of our blog for...oh....say...6 months now? Well, he is now 7 months and the smiliest little guy you ever did meet. Just make eye contact....sorta like "just add water" and VOILE! - a beautiful, toothless grin appears. Usually accompanied by a giggle. He is DELICIOUS and has completely taken over this household. To say we adore him would be quite the understatement.

So onto previous posts. Feel free to "scroll" through some very recent "past posts" (as in 15 minutes ago :) Just remember "I am doing this as a journal, so I can print it as our family scrapbook." :) How many times have I said this. Heard this. OHHH the guilt.
THE GUILT.
