2nd Grade Wrap-Up

Aspen did a great job on her Animal Report:  The Eagle.  The girl might have a future in clay-mation....just sayin'.  Her class got to show off their reports after the 2nd Grade program, which was another end of year highlight. The songs were so cute....and informative!  It was so fun to watch her perform. 

Little House on the Prairie Day.  

Truly one of my very favorite things about 2nd Grade!  After reading the book as a class, they all dress up in pioneer clothes and have a day full of pioneer games and activities.  Jamo and I got to go and help out.  He was so thrilled to be included, suspenders and all!

Footings & Foundation

Happy 2nd Birthday Jam-O!

My how time flies when you're climbing or throwing absolutely everything you can get your little paws on.  That mischievous little grin pretty much says it all. 

Oh, how we love you Jammer!  

We went with some friends and cousins to Get Air to get our jump on.

  

It was pretty stinkin' fun if I do say so myself. Fun for kids.  Fun for moms.  

James was in absolute HEAVEN!

Aspen has been planning to decorate his bedroom door for his birthday for 3 months.  She has been gathering supplies, cutting letters, and just plain being thoughtful.  

I LOVE this quality about her.

QUEEN BEES

"We are the queen bees, hope you don't get stung!"

This was Aspen's team cheer this spring and I gotta admit.....

it was pretty catchy.

  

....And pretty darn adorable to watch them throw their hands in the air and fall to the ground pretending to be stung.  

It was a magical (UNDEFEATED!) season.  

Pretty sure I can brag about this point since my daughter loves to be the everlasting defender.  Yep.  Remember that post last fall when I mentioned her coach was trying to talk her into trying other positions?  No dice.  Ok, maybe one game.....but she didn't last there long.  She knows what she knows and that's where Penny Pinks is comfortable. 
The credit for our undefeated status must be given to some pretty amazing forwards! 

It was really fun to watch her improve and gain confidence as the season progressed.  I think she has found her sport, folks.  

Shouldn't all victories be rewarded with a sugar cookie.  I submit to you that they should!

We've got ourselves a climber.  

All day. Every day.  

He was trying to get down from his latest counter caper (I know, I know, what the devil was he doing on the counter?  Like I said...he's a climber.) Long story short - He was climbing down, the chair slid, and he fell...superman style. It just so happened that he had the fly swatter in his hand when he landed.  :(

Super sad.
