So....whatcha been up to?

A little of this.....

This is Jack's fall baseball team after their final tournament.  Not a single pic of him up to bat or in the field.
I'm awesome.  Better luck in the spring?
I should have plenty of opportunities since I believe the game count for spring ball currently stands at 42.  gulp.
So fun to watch him do something he loves!

A little of that....

D-fence!
Penny has become a mean defender over the past year.  Her awesome coach (thanks, Josh :) has tried his darndest to coax her into other positions throughout the season..... after all isn't this the age to try them all out?  Not happening.  True to character, she doesn't want the pressure of goalie, nor the spotlight of forward.  Just keep me in the middle, please.  She's actually getting pretty good.  We usually start each Saturday morning with her saying, "I think I'll try forward today....nah!"
She absolutely LOVES to play!

And a whole lotta sidelines for Jame-O.....

With his buddy, Griff, just chillin' at the soccer field.
So cute!  And below, snuggled in his favorite fold out chair.
Your day will come little man!

Pumpkin Patch Fun.

It has become an annual tradition for my sibs and I to gather our kids at a local pumpkin patch.  It's usually a different crew every year and this year our numbers were sparse.  This is the part where you should not feel bad if you are reading this post and you did NOT get a "pumpkin patch" picture to show the world what an incredibly fun mother you are.....it was overrated.   It was freezing.  It rained.   There was lots of mud....  but I got a darn cute pic of the kids out of it.... and isn't that what it's ALL about?  :)

They had a blast picking out their pumpkins and chasing each other through the hay bale maze.  Actually, THAT'S what it's all about.

I'll give you one guess as to where this caboose spends most of his fall evenings...

 Put me in coach!!

Truly one of the cutest things I've ever seen!
Jame-O, as he's called around here, drags the "T" out all by himself.
Gets the bat.  Gets the ball.  Sets it all up.  And WHAM-O!  It usually doesn't go much farther than this picture.  He absolutely LOVES that he is playing ball like Jack.
Monkey see. Monkey do.
