Why does this Elton John song ring through my head every year at recital time?

And why oh why- does a slick bun make the whole world seem right?!?  

 She was a Fairy in this years Clytie Adams Recital.  Make that an Autumn Fairy....we sorta renamed it after seeing the costume.

 Fully loved and supported. 

Note for next year:  Charge the camera battery...so every pic isn't "phone" quality.  :)
