Legoland
April 6, 2010
While on Spring Break with my whole family, we took our kids to Legoland along with my younger brother, Jake. The lines were RIDICULOUSLY long, but I'll tell you what...
TALK about visual candy!
So many amazing things made completely out of LEGOS. The patience required to build this park can only truly be appreciated by an honest to goodness LEGO connoisseur.
We happened to bring three along with us.
Tom, Jake and Jackson were mesmerized. Penny and I were impressed for sure, but ended up at the face painting stand before too long. Right after she decided to ditch Jake mid-line.
(See bottom right photo and yes, he was the only unattended adult on the kiddie parachute ride.)
Watching Jackson spend his hard earned "souvenir money" in the store at the end of the day pretty much made the trip for me. I could actually see the euphoria inside his head as he carefully compared sets and just the LEGO-ness of it all!

Is that an entire pier made of Legos? And I thought my coffee table made of bottle caps was cool.
