Disneyland

This week we went to Disneyland with Tom's sister, Julee, her family and their parents.
We had a blast!
Our top five:
Penny: Looking over her Disneyland map at least 6 times/hour (top right pic) Bug's life land, teacups, Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain
Jack: Pirates of the Caribbean (feelin' pretty good about sharing a name with Jack Sparrow), The Lego Store in Downtown Disney (his own personal Nirvana) Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear, & feeling independent with his super cool (his words) and older cousins
Liza: Cotton candy, Churros, Being outside in the sunshine, Tower of Terror (hate me if you must, but that thing is hilarious), Saying "yes" to my kids
Tom: The Sunshine, the lack of cell phone usage, Soarin' over California ride, showers at night, having fun with happy kids
The first day we went to Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel. That was a riot! It was a buffet of everything you (kid or all-growed up) could ever want for breakfast. Penny had cupcakes, chocolate rice krispies, bacon and an ice cream cone. Jack had Mac & Cheese, bacon, ice cream, and who knows what else. Tom and I had a delightful spread of fresh fruits and a small bowl of oatmeal.....on the fourth trip to the buffet. It was embarrassing...unbelievably satisfying....I mean, embarrassing.
It was a great week. Thanks for the invite, Julee!

The thought of short sleeves makes me want to cry. You missed the dreariest week of the winter. Looks like fun.
Yay for Disneyland...it really is a bit magical! Your kids are at such a great age to go. I bet they had the time of their lives...it's hard to beat Disneyland! Look at you two posts in one...I got ya beat though, I was so far behind I had to do three...no pressure! Love Ya

I love disneyland! We took our kids in September and Taggert keeps asking when we are going back. So much fun! Sounds like you had a blast!
What a perfect time of year to go to Disneyland. It sounds like you had a very good time together. But then again, that is a must, you were at the, "Happiest Place on Earth" after all!
Hey I'm right there with ya kids. It's the greatest place on earth, right. I was remembering our trip last Feb. and feeling jealous that you were just there. We did have some great sun in AZ though. Anything to get out of blasted Feb. weather in UT, eh?
